ABOUT THE SPECIAL NEEDS FUND FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS
Our Special Needs Fund for Capital Improvements is dedicated to financing permanent projects and essential upgrades that enhance our school's infrastructure and resources. While specific fundraisers are organized to support this special fund, directed donations can help us achieve our goals even faster! Past areas of focus included:
- Media Center Upgrades: The PTO provided $23,000 in funds to modernized the media center in 2023. We were able to fund upgrades to furniture, equipment, and resources to ensure students have access to what they need to succeed.
- Smart Board Conversions: The PTO provided $17,000 to update the chalkboards and transition to whiteboards in classrooms.
- Musical Instruments: The PTO provided $7,500 to purchase musical instruments for Band and Strings Programs.
This year (2024-25) we are raising funds for an Outdoor Discovery Center.
